Stichting Future For Young People
We’ve recently got some really cool new workwear at Rondom, but then we thought, what are we going to do with our old workwear? We thought it would be a shame just to throw it all away… which is why we’d like to give it a new lease of life.

Demand for healthcare is growing and waiting times are increasing. That is why we believe we need to take a different approach to health: not just treating people when they have symptoms, but rather looking at what we can do to prevent them in the first place. With this in mind, we have developed our own Rondom shoe collection.

From care to health
Being able to move around easily is important for continuing to participate in daily life – whether it’s enjoying a visit with friends, going for a walk in the woods or taking the grandchildren to the playground. That is why we do not want to wait until moving around becomes more difficult or symptoms arise before we support people. Instead, we look at what we can do earlier on to keep people healthy and active. Good shoes are one example of this.
A well-fitting shoe provides support, distributes pressure and can help prevent discomfort. In this way, good shoes can make an important contribution to helping you walk through life more comfortably.
More choice with a new collection
Making good shoes accessible to more people is not something we’ve only just started doing. At Rondom Shoes It combines expertise in footwear, personalised advice and a carefully curated collection of comfortable shoes.
In 2021, we developed, in collaboration with the Diabetes Fund our first in-house footwear range: Tudo Volta. This has enabled us to help many people find a good, suitable pair of shoes. The Tudo Volta range will remain available as usual.
With our new Rondom shoe collection, we are further expanding the range of options. The collection offers more choice in widths and styles. This means we can help even more people, including those for whom a Tudo Volta shoe is less suitable. And something else we consider important: the shoes are durable and retain their functionality. That makes them truly worth the investment.
Applying healthcare expertise in practice
Our footwear collections have been developed based on the knowledge and experience of our podiatrists, orthopaedic shoemakers, medical pedicurists and movement scientists. They know what feet need to walk properly and see every day what the right shoes can do for people’s health. We have translated that practical knowledge into shoe collections that combine fit, support, quality and style.
Why good shoes make a difference
Our podiatrist Laura explains why good shoes are important for staying active and how our shoe collection has been developed based on practical experience.
The new Rondom footwear collection is available via Rondom Shoes and in our shops in Heerlen en Deventer. Do you have an appointment with a podiatrist or medical pedicurist? If so, you can also ask them about the options available!
